Marialaura Irvine
Marialaura Rossiello Irvine, born in 1972, has been the creative force behind Studio Irvine for over a decade. With an architecture degree from Naples under the mentorship of Riccardo Dalisi, Marialaura’s design philosophy is deeply inspired by a profound and intrinsic respect for the narrative foundations of architecture. She began her design career in Milan after pursuing studies in Strategic Design at the Politecnico di Milano. Focusing on marketing, communication, and strategy, she gained valuable experience by collaborating with major Italian design companies, developing a methodology that views the product as part of the overall strategy. Later, she began blending her experience with the typically British approach to design, thanks to her partnership with her late husband, James Irvine, who passed away prematurely in 2013.
